Malvern pudding is a traditional pudding from the English town of Malvern in Worcestershire. [1] It is a baked dish made with apples or other seasonal fruit and custard although variations exist.[2][3][4][5][6]
It was listed as one of the ten most "threatened puddings" after a survey conducted by UKTV Food. [7] A so-called Malvern pudding features prominently in Carol Shields' award-winning novel The Stone Diaries, although the description of the recipe in the novel matches that of summer pudding.
